Background:

 

2023 was the year that included some very intentional discussion and emphasis of Diversity. Equity, and Inclusiveness.  This was deemed a necessary point of consideration needed to support the growth and evolution of the Longmont community, as the population climbed to over one hundred thousand people.

 

A consultant (Carolyn Love of Kebaya Coaching & Consulting) was engaged to facilitate, assess, and present a plan of recommendations.  This work was accepted by the board ot Trustees and represents a working philosophical and operational Framework.
